Our Story
Iron & Light was founded by Sean Roethel, a lifelong industry professional with over 15 years in commercial kitchens and 5+ years running a six-figure hood cleaning business.
From growing up around the food industry — working in restaurants, kitchens, and family-owned businesses — to managing a successful hood cleaning company, Sean saw a major gap in the industry.
There was no clear, professional path to certification and business success for new cleaners.
Iron & Light was built to change that.
