Our Story
Iron & Light was founded by Sean Roethel, a lifelong industry professional with over 15 years in commercial kitchens and 5+ years running a six-figure hood cleaning business.
Growing up around the food industry — working in restaurants, kitchens, and family-owned businesses — and later managing a successful hood cleaning company, Sean kept running into the same gap in the industry: there was no clear, professional path to certification and business success for new cleaners.
